I now have it on good authority from a very reliable observer that on Sunday afternoon there was definitely a black redstart "showing well" on the beach at Low Newton !
So what has the NS self appointed one man records committee learnt from this incident ?
Today the committee published a press release...
"This is excellent news ! The more records like this we can verify, the less like North Norfolk we will become, and less time will be wasted walking about the beach looking at feckin rock pipits !"
Mr Stringer added....
"....I still think those shorelarks were a bag of shite tho....."
